Héctor Hernández (España, 1988)
Es licenciado en Bellas Artes y Máster en Investigación en Arte y Creación por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y ha realizado el curso Creatividad y Estrategias en Fotografía Contemporánea impartido por Javier Vallhonrat en el Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine EFTI.
Además se ha formado como guía y técnico de montaña y escalada (TD2) por CFEM y Sputnik Formación.
Su practica artística parte de la experiencia fenomenológica en el territorio para explorar los límites de los lenguajes artísticos para abordar la realidad, así como para cuestionar los conceptos construidos sobre nuestra relación con la naturaleza.
A partir de un acercamiento emocional, sensorial y poético, explora la reducción y compresión de la experiencia debido a la representación visual y las carencias de nuestros sistemas de conocimiento.
Su obra deriva hacia la instalación entrelazándose con la fotografía, el sonido y el vídeo, centrada en lo inabarcable y lo indecible, ofreciendo un espacio sensorial e inmersivo.

Héctor Hernández (Spain, 1988)
He holds a bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid and a M.A. in Creation and Research from the same university. He completed a course in Creativity and Strategies in Contemporary Photography, given by Javier Vallhonrat at the EFTI International Centre of Photography and Film.
His artistic practice draws on phenomenological experience with territory to explore the limits of artistic languages to address reality as well as to question our concepts constructed on the basis of our relation with nature.
Through emotional, sensorial and poetic approach he explores the reduction and compression of experience due to visual representation and the lacks of our knowledge systems.
His work tends towards sculpture installation art, intertwined with photography, sound and video focused in the immeasurable and the ineffable, offering a sensory and immersive space.
